Our client is a European based, internationally active media group with more than 20 subsidiaries worldwide. They currently employ approximately 1200 staff at different locations. The Hungarian subsidiary is on the market for 18 years. The company has in its portfolio B2B magazines, newsletters, handbooks, digital editions. On top of the traditional product portfolio they organise B2B seminars and conferences on different topics. The company currently employs more than 20 colleagues.To lead the subsidiary in Budapest we are looking for a Managing Director.
You will be responsible for managing the business, achieving business results, supervising and leading all employees of the company. Also responsible for the development of the entire portfolio of products for existing and new target groups, searching new opportunities for growth, developing marketing and sales, keeping the budgets and ensure the profitable growth of the company on Hungarian market. The ideal candidate has a business degree, commercial or an equivalent education, experience in media business, publishing and/or training business in B2B sector. We also would consider candidates with strong direct marketing experience. Also important to have previous experience in managing teams and to possess excellent analytical skills. At the start a managing director is supported by a sound training in the mother company, and on a constant basis - by regular experience exchange with mother and sister companies. The managing director gets a high degree of responsibility and high level of independence to develop business. A rewarding fixed gross monthly salary is offered.
